Bruce P. Ambuter, our principal, is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience. He received both his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.

Ambuter Associates offers expertise in the areas of custom sensor array definition and selection; low-noise, analog front-end sensor interfaces; miniature, autonomous data loggers selection and interface; specification, documentation, and fabrications of DA systems; and facility-wide data acquisition, control, and processing systems

Ambuter Associates has developed wide experience in:

• Specification, design, development of integrated hardware, software packages for real-time, data acquisition & presentation systems used in/with microprocessor and PC based Windows & Windows CE platforms/environments
• Sensor selection and specification, and hardware interface design for geophysical, oceanographic, industrial & cogeneration, instrumentation applications, PLC programming
• Low noise analog & digital hardware design, PC board layout, packaging, fabrication, and production aspects of low-power, miniaturized, embedded controller based data logger collection systems
• Development of generic software to support data collection and processing applications. This software can be quickly/inexpensively adapted for different applications
• Development of C-language and VB interfaces to MODBus, GE Fanuc, Bristol Babcock, and other controllers
• Statistical analysis, short circuit analysis, EMI field studies, harmonic analysis
